Noteworthy....

# 5 Dane Hill - returning starter. Younger brother of Troy Hill, EHS Grad '01.

# 53 Brendon Ehlers - returning starter - saw a lot of time as a sophmore. State Medalist and Individual Champion in 4A Golf this past fall. Father Scott is the resident pro at Evanston's Purple Sage Championship Golf Course and an assistant coach. Led Lady Eagles of Lyman to state championship in basketball in an undefeated season and also coached Lyman boys before transfering to Evanston.

# 22 Weston Walker - Younger brother of Josh Walker, 2002 EHS Grad. All-around athlete earning all-conference awards in football. Great return specialist, running back & receiver. Saw limited varsity hoops time as a sophmore.

#32 Nick Thompson - Football quarterback who also earned all-conference honors. Younger brother of defensive specialist Cortney Thompson. Started as a sophmore in the beginning of last year's season; came off the bench thereafter.

#20 Cody Ball - Younger brother of EHS standouts Danny, (        ) Ryan, & Dana (Mesa St.).

#12 - Garret Lym - Younger brother of EHS Standouts Dustin & Waylon Lym.

#40 - Tate Hancock - Has been practicing with the team all season, but only recently got to play in his first game. Played tightend for the Red Devils in football, after transferring from Union HS in Roosevelt, Utah. Did not play football for the Cougars, but did play basketball, and if I understand correctly, had to sit out the equivalent of a semester because his family did not relocate to Evanston; Tate is staying with an aunt & uncle. Will really change the scheme of things for the Red Devils on both ends of the floor with his athletic 6'6" frame. Other players will not be forced to play out of position with Tate in the line-up.

Results: 13-2 overall; 5-0 in conference; 5-0 @ home; 8-3 away/neutral sites - 13-2 Officially as the Altamont game was not really a Varsity contest; the only senior that saw playing time was Paul Stemle.
