2004 Evanston High School All-Alumni Weekend July 2-4
This summer marks the 14th annual Evanston High School All-Alumni Weekend, held each year on the weekend nearest the 4th of July. This year's festivities will take place on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 2nd-4th. Many individual classes will be staging their reunions over the same weekend.
This year, the All-Alumni Ice-Breaker will replace the Saturday night Dinner & Dance. The EHS Alumni Society has received a lot of feedback and decided not only to forego the banquet style dinner, but to change nights, as well, with the aforementioned Ice-Breaker for any and all EHS Alumni taking place on FRIDAY night. The cost is $25.00 per person. EHS Alumni and their guests are more than welcome. It will be held in the newly refurbished Machine Shop, located in the Railroad Roundhouse Complex on West Main Street. Wait 'til you see this place!
Friday will also still offer the EHS Alumni Golf Tournament and no-host Social beginning at 9AM on Friday morning. The Purple Sage has expanded into a beautiful Championship 18 Hole Course, and this year we'll have access to the brand new clubhouse, too! The cost is very low, in fact, I believe the Purple Sage gives EHS Alumni a discounted rate on green fees and there may be a nominal tourney fee that goes towards prizes like longest drive, closest to the hole, etc., for guys and gals!
Saturday's EHS All-Alumni events will take place early on, leaving the rest of the weekend free for individual class reunion activities, along with City of Evanston 4th of July celebrations. The annual class-competition Noise Parade will take place in downtown Evanston near 10, with the Morning Mixer to follow in historic Depot Square around 10:30. Bloody Marys, with or without, soft drinks and this year, burgers and hotdogs will be among the offerings. All proceeds raised benefit scholarships for future EHS Alums.
The rest of the weekend, (and sometimes in between) is set aside for individual class functions and city-wide 4th of July celebrations. We'll post those activities as we receive them.
We hope to see YOU back in Evanston this 4th of July weekend!

Our school - our Evanston High School
You're the one we love the best. You're the only, the one and only; You're the finest in the west. And our colors are blue & scarlet, all our rivals we will defy. We pledge again allegiance to you, Evanston High!
Our school - our Alma Mater. Here's the song we sing to thee. And may our motto "Toward the Highest" be a cry of victory. And may our colors of blue & scarlet from the highest ensign fly. We pledge again allegiance to you Evanston High!
