In the near future, I'll post a schedule of upcoming games. We'll showcase guys & gals hoops games and football games, dating back to the late 80's-early 90's, along with some more recent Red Devil contests. If you have a copy of a Red Devil sportscast that you would loan to me to convert to streaming audio, we'll post those, as well. Listen while you surf!

Toward the end of the (Green River @ Evanston) sportscast, Russ and I were fortunate to interview three Evanston High School standouts that are and will be great representatives of our school and community @ Utah State and Snow College. Cortnee Carroll and her big brother Jaycee were in town, (Jaycee in between Thursday and Saturday games vs. Cal St. Northridge and 24th ranked Pacific) along with Brendon Ehlers, last year's 4A hoops player of the year, a golfer for the Aggies. Thanks for checking in! Here's where you can listen to the latest Red Devil sporting events in streaming audio, at your convenience. The audio should begin to download and play immediately. It took about 10 seconds to begin for me, and you control all the player options below.
This Union HS @ Evanston sportscast is about a 2 hour file, and our games will sound much better if things can be worked out for future sportscasts. Please keep in mind that this is a streaming audio version of a telephone-connected radio broadcast.
We will enhance the original quality by leaps and bounds if our Marti unit can be used in the high school gym. This will allow our originating audio to be almost studio quality from EHS Gym, rather than through a mixer and over phone lines, although the phone line audio scenario will still be the case for away games.
The latest Red Devil event will showcased here, and will remain active until it's replacement is posted, usually same day to next day. Please check the Grouchy Mark Productions calendar for future sportscasts and links to listen in online.
Russ Anderson (EHS Class of '72) provides color commentary, along with Josh Rasnake and Alex Frame also EHS grads, (and Heather Ellis, Mike Ellis and Bill Smith from time to time) as your AM Stereo 1240 KEVA studio hosts, and yours truly, from the Red Devil Class of 1979, with the play-by-play action. We have an absolute blast, and consider it an honor to be a part of Red Devil sportscasts on KEVA! Listen for special guests in the future...
This particular sportscast begins with a small snippet of ABC news, followed by a KEVA weather forecast and then our pregame coverage and ensuing call of the game, complete with Evanston commercials commences. Unfortunately, the audio was cut in the middle of a great postgame interview with head coach Bubba O'Neill, but there's still some spirited comments from the Coach O'Neill.
