 Former Evanston Red Devil standout athletes Casey, Brady & Kelly Poppinga from Evanston Middle School Football Field, site of the first-ever Poppinga Youth Football Mini-Camp. Casey played collegiately at the University of Wyoming & Utah State University, and professionally for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles in their Super Bowl appearance vs. the New Enlgland Patriots in 2005. Brady was a 3-time All Mountain West Conference Linebacker while at BYU, and a current member of the Green Bay Packers. Kelly transferred to BYU from Utah St. where he was a starting linebacker. Kelly will red-shirt this 2005 season and then play for the Cougars in 2006 & 2007.
